Today is Gypsy Rose Lee's would-be 102nd birthday! Although both IMDb and Wikipedia both list January 9, 1911 as her birthday, when I read Gypsy's biography, there was an actual copy of her birth certificate that said January 8, 1911, so I choose to go with that date. One of my very favorite humans would have turned 111 today if he had lived—Walt Disney. He created and inspired so many of the things that are near and dear to my heart: Donald Duck, Disneyland, Sleeping Beauty, the list goes on and on. If you ever want to know what an absolute amazing man he was, I highly suggest the documentary, Walt - The Man Behind the Myth. I cry every time I watch it because he's just so creative and inspirational—and he loves life!
